Tell Us What You Think!
Let us know how you liked Teen Lit Con 2017 and receive a Flip Flashlight for your efforts. Did you enjoy your time at Teen Lit Con? Knowing what you think we got right and what we got wrong  makes next year’s event even better. So take a few minutes to shed some light on the subject of Teen Lit Con.

WEIRD Title Trivia!
Do you think you’re well read? Do you think you can spot a fake from the real thing? If you answered “yes” to either of these questions then step right up and spin the WEIRD Title Trivia Wheel! Whatever title it lands on you have to say if it’s the title of a real book or goofy title a bunch of librarians thought up. Give it a try and win an Earbud Stasher to get you through any day tangle free.

Ivory Tower: Opportunities in Lit
Visit the Ivory Tower booth sponsored by the English Department at the University of Minnesota and pick up your free copy of the 2017 Ivory Tower literary magazine. The magazine is made up entirely of college student creative work, and is edited and produced by the college students in a magazine class at the U. Take this opportunity to find out about the University of Minnesota English major – just a thought.  If you want to find out more right now, try these links: http://ivory-tower.umn.edu/; facebook.com/ivorytowermagazine; twitter.com/ivorytowermag; https://issuu.com/ivorytower.

Write On: e-Typewriter Poetry
Sit down and step back into the 20th century to type an original poem on an electric typewriter. Who knows, the click-clack of the keys may inspire you. There’s carbonless copy paper on hand as well. Share a copy of your poem for the Teen Lit Con anthology!

My between-the-pages friends
Came alive in your imagination.
Helping me to see myself,
How did you know so well
What I needed to see?

Game On!
Need a book break? Give Tetris a try or play it (even more) old school with a board game.

Book Genies
The Book Genies are ready to recommend books from 11-3. Tell them what you like to read and like magic they will produce a custom list of books just for you. Don’t forget to visit the Wall of Faves to make your recommendations to other Teen Lit Conners.

Are you up for the Read Without Walls Challenge?
Gene Luen Yang, Teen Lit Con author alum and the current National Ambassador of Young People’s Literature challenges all readers to explore the world through books by reading something outside your comfort zone. Get the details here. While you’re at it, try the Teen Lit Con Landmark Challenge just for fun!

Wanna bookCRAFT?

Sure books are for reading, but a little bookcrafting is fun too.

Try one or all of these:
